Advisory Committee

Purpose

Though the primary mechanism for library/faculty consultation and communication is through library liaisons to academic units, this committee complements this mechanism and functions

  1. to serve as liaison and advocate for the library with various campus constituencies, and to communicate with the library from the perspective of those constituencies
  2. to advise library leadership and staff on allocation of budget
  3. to review and comment on library plans, goals, and priorities.

 

Membership

Six full-time faculty members, three of whom should have significant teaching responsibilities with undergraduate courses and three of whom should have significant teaching responsibilities with graduate courses; one eligible adjunct faculty member, if appointed by the Adjunct Faculty Council; and two students.
