Advisory Committee
Purpose
Though the primary mechanism for library/faculty consultation and communication is through library liaisons to academic units, this committee complements this mechanism and functions
- to serve as liaison and advocate for the library with various campus constituencies, and to communicate with the library from the perspective of those constituencies
- to advise library leadership and staff on allocation of budget
- to review and comment on library plans, goals, and priorities.
Membership
Six full-time faculty members, three of whom should have significant teaching responsibilities with undergraduate courses and three of whom should have significant teaching responsibilities with graduate courses; one eligible adjunct faculty member, if appointed by the Adjunct Faculty Council; and two students.
